Programmers are Multilingual. They can speak English, (their Native Languages). They can also speak . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . C#, VB.Net, PHP, J#, C, C++, Pearl, PASCAL, Assembly, Java, Power Builder, SQL, JavaScript, CobolScript, J++, and MANY MORE LANGUAGES :laugh:
Programming Languages are not "tongues", so they do not make one multi-tongued.

I've never used a spell checker in an IDE... I currently have VS 2005 Standard, VS2010 Pro, and VS2012 Pro installed on my work computer but don't have a spell checker installed LOL. Since I've never wanted a spell checker in an IDE I wonder... does it just check words in string literals? I might have to check one out... probably under Tools -> Extensions?

Yep - Tools Extension Manager. There's a few out there you can search for - I think I am using this one[^] It just checks comments and string literals Seems pretty stable to me & you can add your own words and use different language dictionaries if you so desire.

I will check that out. I hope it don't count cuss words as spelling errors or every comment in my apps will be flagged :) Thanks again for link :)
I added a few choice words to the dictionary - like Elephanting for example!

I would guess that your native language isn't English? Essentially all you are pointing out in your "Joke" is that the word "Language" can be ued both for programming languages and the spoken language. If this joke were in, say, a child's comic or perhaps Reader's Digest, then it might raise the beginnings of a smile on the face of a five-year-old. Posted to a site inhabited in the main by English Speaking Programmers? :-O
