Duckworth debacle with South Africa they changed the system.
No Paul,DuckWorth -Lewis System is same. After the SA debacle people are showing the PAR score and the winning score more prominently on the scoreboards, which was lacking in Durban's scoreboard back in 2003. And SA's score of 147 for 1 is enough to win the match ,the only catch being it constitutes a match only if both teams face minimum 20 overs each..

t is doubtful whether Brett lee would have made the difference especially as the fast bowlers bled so many runs.
May be or he may not have done so..Kiwis are notoriously difficult lot to beat in their own back yard.I remember Australia on the corresponding series held last year in NZ squeaked home(result was 2-1 Aus), with NZ chasing 322 ending up at 320 in the second game and overhauling 332 in the final match.SO they have a history chasing big totals against Aus.But I would'nt write off Australia just yet.But if any two out of the injured Lee,Hayden and Symonds dont make it to the WestIndies then they are in serious trouble

Who do you think is most likely to win the World Cup this year?
I wish it was India.. but the Aussies are still the favourites to win. What these string of losses have done is to take off the invincibility aura around the Aussies. Now other teams will take field against them thinking they might pull it off and in that sense it will be the most open event since 1992,with Australia having their noses in front and rest of the pack (SA,India,SL,Eng.,NZ) hot on their heels.
Yesterday when the news started filtering about Warne's retirement, my initial reaction was of surprise, because he was bowling so well. But as Ian Chappel said it is better to quit when at top and when people think that there is still some fire left in him. Also there was some speculation about McGrath too following Warne into retirement. Australian cricket is in for some tough times when these two legends hang up their cricket gear. Agni
There is an Extension in Firefox known as Video Downloader[^] that does this. You need a special player known as FLV player to view the video, you may have to download it from the extension developer's website. Agni -- modified at 2:02 Friday 8th December, 2006

Mmmmm Perugu Annam(Translation for Non_Telugu : Curd/Yogurt Rice). Back in my college days we used to have Perugu Annam with lime pickle for lunch in summer,to beat the heat. I always had great difficulty later keeping my-self awake for the post-lunch session of classes. :-) Agni

Sorry David, but that does not come under a programing question. Dinuj was not asking how to do that, but a tool that does a required task. These type of questions are always asked here in Lounge. Agni

Found this on the web... A real brain challenging story sent in by BOTW: A few centuries ago, a Law teacher came across a student who was willing to learn but was unable to pay the fees. The student struck a deal with the teacher saying, “I will pay your fee the day I win my first case in the court”. The teacher agreed and proceeded with the law course. When the course was finished and teacher started pestering the student to pay up, the student reminded him of the deal and refused to pay. Fed up with this, the teacher decided to sue the student in the court of law and both of them decided to argue for themselves. The teacher put forward his argument saying: ” If I win this case, as per the court of law, the student has to pay me as the case is about his non-payment of dues. And if I lose the case, student will still pay me because he would have won his first case. So either way I will have to get the money”. Quickly, the brilliant student argued back with: “If I win the case, as per the court of law, I don’t have to pay anything to the teacher as the case is about my non-payment of dues. And if I lose the case, I don’t have to pay him because I haven’t won my first case yet. So either way, I am not going to pay the teacher anything”. This is one of the greatest paradoxes ever recorded in history. regards Agni

Even more interesting, the movie was made in 1998.
I saw this movie on our satellite channel just before September 2001.I thought that the movie a bit far fetched and no terrorists could attack the FBI head quarters(as depicted in the movie). Little did I know that,in a few days terrorists would attack not the FBI but the Pentagon itself(besides the WTC). In the next few days after September 11 2001, I was contantly replaying of the scenes of the movie in my mind and would wonder how close to the reality the movie was.... Agni
