Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'You are not very consistent... 1. It's a scam shouldn't be in signature 2. Would be fine if formatted differently 3. It's a scam. lol
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Sounds like or you think it is?
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'I don't need the last word. Accuracy is important to me (regarding comments) as it should be to all. No need for patronization either. My browser doesn't seem to render those lines.
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Ok, fair enough... I didn't calculate that variable. I will run that tonight and get the number. In fact in my example, no clear seperation is present. (Mark's) THanks
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Too bad you didn't just say that in the beginning.
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Thanks... Good to be resolved. Want to win a free laptop??? (JOKE)
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Wow, I still take offense... You are implying I didn't create a clear separation between my text and the signature... Unbelievable... You are wrong, no intention on my part. And I just post my signature in the signature portion of the post mechanism. I do not control how close it is placed to the post text. Thanks... P.S. What's up with jabs???
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'I agree solely with your argument mention. Other than that I think you should concede with me. Thanks
-
Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'You are still fighting me on this... Just concede already. Now it's about formatting. Make up your mind, or concede. The big difference you are talking about happens to apply to me. All you say above is what I did, did correctly.

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'It would be nice to see in general a few people help me out on this. I mean really, these two are just flaming! Read my posts, read my signature, then compare to other more "popular" posters and writers, then be honest with yourself and let me know. What is the issue? Thanks in advance!

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'Interestingly I ran an analysis last night on the lounge posts... 59% of signatures either point to a product for download that is free, for sale, a blog which talks about products for free and for sale and more, if you would like to see it. In fact, let’s look at one of CP's most prolific writers and posters. http://www.codeproject.com/lounge.asp?msg=2182543#xx2182543xx Are you planning on telling Mark that one of his links in his signature is to a page that sells a product? And that it is technically spam. Maybe you should forward the Media Kit link to him. In summation I think it is the content you don't like. My posts are relevant to the topic, and are free form. My signature points to a free service. If someone was to simply put an advertisement in a post response with no actual relation to the post, that I would define as spam. If you look at my posts in the lounge, all are related and generally received well. You should do some checking on your own before flaming me. Rather than just being a jerk. I would have thought being a developer yourself you may actually do a little analysis for yourself rather than just spout off. I was about to just let it go, but after some thought, it is clear you are just making an issue out of nothing! And I don't understand why exactly. Maybe when you create your own CP like or forum you can outlaw those signatures you would prefer to sensor.

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'You know what, it's really simple... Of course it is marketing. And it is free... Ploy??? ploy (ploi) n. An action calculated to frustrate an opponent or gain an advantage indirectly or deviously; a maneuver: "A typical ploy is to feign illness, procure medicine, then sell it on the black market" Jill Smolowe. Give me a break! Your email address for chance to win laptop every 30 days. What is wrong with that. If you don't like it don't give your email. Again it is a signature in the post... Don't hack on it. That is why in the signature itself is a link to my primary company... "for legitimacy concerns" Seriously, what is the issue. Stop making them up! -- modified at 13:23 Monday 13th August, 2007

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'You can contact me here. a.nystrom@genetibase.com http://www.genetibase.com Please fix your post. As it is not a scam, and the nature of signatures are free to express whatever. By fixing your post I do mean correcting yourself as giving people the impression that I am scamming them is insulting and inaccurate!

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'It's not a scam... Read the entire signature. (And signatures are just that signatures) Do you really think I would pass a "scam" in the forum. I can't decide which is more idiotic, that notion or you commenting on it. If it was a scam I don't think I would give the link to my primary company in the signature itself. (Phone, address, names etc.) Thanks for policing though.

My$ql suckersAbsolutely evil. And it is happening more often! Makes one really question the motivation behind "the movement" And Stallman himself. He must be aware that is very words are capitalized by the very big business he sees issue with. Maybe he is on the "$take"

Santa Cruz 'Mystery Spot'"Some speculate that cones of metal were secretly brought here and buried in our earth as guidance systems for their spacecraft." Cones of metal... mmm, I have some of those... Seriously though I have been there and parts of the structure are sitting at odd angles, nothing is level, therefore the illusion when inside with little perspective of the outside. Like trees, the sky, etc...
