How to refresh Explorer window after Registry key changed? I want to hide the files that have hide attribe so I set [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "Hidden" to 0 But that doesn't affect the current opened explorer window. I have to use "refresh" menu (not F5 button) to command to hide the hidden files. How to tell the current opened explorer window to hide these hidden files after I set the registry key? How to get notified when user logoff? WM_ENDSESSION & WM_QUERYENDSESSION messages are not OK. Cause the system won't send these messages when EWX_FORCE flag is set in ExitWindowsEx function. Is there any way to get notified other than using dll in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify" entry? Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot! I just need to use \\.\PhysicalDrivex to open the disk contains the appointed logical volumn. I've lookup in MSDN and found the method. Use DeviceIoControl and send IOCTL_VOLUME_GET_VOLUME_DISK_EXTENTS. But MSDN says it can only use in win2000 and later version.

Today is Chinese new year(Spring Festival)! In every Spring Festival eve, the China Central TV(CCTV) will hold a new year evening party since about 20 years ago. Most people will gather with their family members to watch it on TV. The party of this eve is excellent! And here are the photo links of the most beautiful and impressive dance of this party. The 21 dancers of this program are all deaf. They all live in a silent world, but it is incredible that their dance are so harmonious with rhythm of the background music. It's very impressive.
