Just supplementing this post, Dell has a Precision that is a business class XPS. I believe it is the 5000 series Precision. The G Series was an evolution of their Inspiron gaming series, and both were pretty solid (I've had my Inspiron gaming laptop for 7 years now). However, last years G series were plagued with all sorts of issues and would not recommend purchasing. @Honey the codewitch if you want a good Dell laptop go with the XPS or the Precision equivalent if you need the extra business features.

Single Board PC's for Windows IOTIf you can use the Pi3B that would work. I set up Windows 10 IoT Core on mine and loaded up a small UWP app on it using the official raspberry pi 7" touchscreen. It worked great. If not, here are the development boards that Microsoft recommends: Suggested Prototype Boards - Windows IoT | Microsoft Docs[^] Windows 11 IoT seems to be just enterprise only from what I gathered. I couldn't seem to find a non enterprise version like they did with 10. From what I remember with my small test app, it had to be a UWP app and I also installed Windows 10 IoT Core Dashboard app on my development machine. Integration and debugging with Visual Studio also worked well. Edit: For Windows IoT Enterprise (the newest one) here is the documentation page for hardware: SoCs and Custom Boards for Windows IoT Enterprise | Microsoft Docs[^] From there it seems like VIA Technologies provides both x86 and Arm boards: VIA Embedded Boards - Speed Up Your Development Time[^]

Roku vs Fire StickI'd recommend the new Roku Ultra or the Nvidia Shield TV (Not the Pro one). Roku has a great OS and lots of free content, which will include their own propriety content in the future. The remote also has really nice features like a headphone jack input and find my remote feature, and supports all of the newest video and audio standards such Dolby Vision and Atmos (Need to check if DTS and DTS:X are supported). You can cast from any device (including Apple) and can even mirror your screen from your laptop and tablets. Incredibly user friendly and capable device. Ethernet port is 10/100 compared to 10/100/1000 on the Nvidia Shield TV, but from what I understand this is more than capable for streaming non-local 4k content. If you're someone who rips your dvds and blurays and watches them via an application like Plex, the Nvidia Shield might be the better option as it supports the "non-streaming" Dolby Vision and is the only player that can support this (You'd need 4k rips that have Dolby vision for this). It supports more video and audio formats than other players, and if I remember correctly it's the only one that lets you pass through video. There's one more feature that also makes the Shield an interesting alternative; it has the best AI up-scaling of any player. I haven't personally used the shield so I can't speak to it in depth, just based on what I've read/seen on YouTube. If you would like to use an Antenna to get TV as well you can plug in a USB TV Tuner to the PRO version of the Nvidia Shield TV and it will give you a TV guide feature as well. Regarding the remote question, reviewers have used their LG Harmony remotes with the Nvidia Shield. Not sure if that would work with Roku.

The best BlueRay disc burning softwareIf you want a fun project, you can always set up Plex on a spare computer in your home network 🤓 You'll need a lot of hard drive space if you want uncompressed Blu-Rays though. But I can't argue with the simplicity of using a Blu-Ray player... Just plug it in and it works.

Question~~Advice: Car // Engine // OilJust going through the same thing with a used 2015 CR-V. Honda manual says uses Honda Genuine Motor Oil or
you may also use synthetic motor oil if it is labeled with the API Certification Seal and is the specified viscosity grade.
which leads me to believe the Honda oil is synthetic or some type of blend. [Link to Owner's Manual page on Honda's site.] Lots of people like Mobile 1 synthetic oil if you're looking to use a third party oil manufacturer.

Demise of ASP.Net ?In the past I've used ASP Host Portal. They offer a lot from Windows and Linux hosting, to shared/dedicated servers and shared/dedicated cloud servers all in different tiers, and also email. They have data centers all over the world including London. It was very affordable. They even have an option where they will manage the dedicated server for you (updates, protection, etc.) The reason why I switched was because on the shared host, someone kept hitting the CPU limit and they said there was nothing they could do about it. It would cause my site to go down for hours at a time. It was happening more frequently so instead of switching to a dedicated server I moved to Azure since I thought it would be good to learn for future employment opportunities.
