Here's another example of Outlook suckage -- Email to a friend requesting an important document. Twelve exchanges with him on this particular topic. Exactly one email sent to the Junk E-Mail -- the one containing the document I was waiting for. :confused: Unfortunately, none of the other emails mentioned the attachment in the junked one, so I only discovered I'd gotten what I asked for a couple DAYS afterward... (I get enough junk mail that I don't regularly monitor that folder, and it's always bold because there's unread mail in it.) Why on earth would Outlook decide mail from a valid sender to one person -- me -- is junk??? HEY OUTLOOK, STOP TRYING TO BE SMARTER THAN ME! :mad:

I agree, I'm finding it harder and harder to find the stuff I use most regularly on CP. I miss a "news summary" on the front-page, I find it harder finding articles by subject, I still prefer "Coding Horrors" to "Hall of Shame". And I'm not too keen on the new graphic design look either.

I agree also. It shows a severe lack of respect on there side. Or total incompetence. At my last job, when someone got to the gate of the parking lot, the receptionist would call me to tell me the person was there and I'd walk down to the lobby. More times than not I would be there before the person was. It's just a sign of respect. Especially if they don't even bother to tell the receptionist to tell them I'm running late. If nothing more, if you have to wait so long, unless you are a much better person than I am, you will be annoyed that they kept you waiting so long and the interview may as well not happen. Interviewing is a two way street. Does the company want the person and does the person want to work for the company? Just my two cents.... J.

I like the second one best. The first is poor because what happens with code with inequality statements is ambiguous. The third isn't as good as the second due to the level of technical knowledge in the wording. The proxy credentials is not saved in IE. Each and every time it will prompt for the credentials. Other option is downloading the ISO file, but I wont be able to burn and install the same(as I am in office). I may have to extract and install it, But installing any software like winrar or poweriso is not allowed. Can you please suggest me how to 1. supply credentials by some batch file or commandline param? 2. Suggest some software/application which does not need install by which I can extract the iso? You need to own the short name and the long name domains so there is no real point, just register a short name instead. If you register both and try to forward all mail through the short name to the long name domain you are relaying mail and some (many) (most) modern email systems will look on that with a great deal of suspicion and you will have to do a lot of extra configuration to not get your shortname emails simply dropped for being relayed and or blacklisted.
