Thanks for the reply Michael. I know how to do the JOIN in sql, that's not the problem. The problem is that from a design point of view each table is a separate C# class upon which I call the CRUD methods (album.Delete(), album.SelectOne() etc). What I need to know is what is the best way of joining the tables under this scenario? I've been think of defining views for each JOIN which I require and then generating classes for each of those but I'm not convinced it is the best way to go about it. Cheers James

Yep, its currently in use in our "Synapse" communication suite as one of a few SMS backends on the server, the others are being discontinued as sms2email provide such a good service. As mentioned the service does rely on the network provider, so far we've tested with O2, vodafone, and orange all with very good results. Richard Green

Chris Anderson's BlogX is apparently really good. I wouldn't know from personal experience becuase my blog is hosted at http://dotnetweblogs.com. But all the BlogX blogs I read are fairly stable and from what I hear, pretty customizable. The only beef I have with BlogX sites is that the RSS link is at the bottom, which makes finding the xml feed just a little more difficult if you aren't using an aggregator that supports RSS autodiscovery. Hawaian shirts and shorts work too in Summer. Sounds like a cool idea. I'm always interested in learning about new artists. I use a pay-service, Rhapsody, and like the way they have artists set up. There is a little blurb on the artist when available, an assigned genre, Similar Artists, Influences, Followers, Related projects, helps to explore with this extra info. it's alot more extra work to get that info, but it may help narrowing down queries. For example: I queried NIN, and as number 4 or 5 Eminem came up. People often listen to both NIN and Eminem, but they aren't really similar artists. Not trying to bag on the program in anyway, I think there is good potential for it. Just some constructive criticism of what I saw. Hope you dont mind it. :) I like the forums. If you are really into informatics as a science, maybe some algorithms from bioinformatics can help you. Finding substring in one another and computing similarity-distance is quite common in DNA-sequence handling. You will find more stuff about that in the net than you are able to read in the entire rest of your life.
