I encoded a .wmv file in to base64 format and placed as a tag in XML. Is there any way to play that encoded video file in the browser's embeded player( any player ) ? Which player is encoded video compatible ? I used base64 encoding for jpg file. it is working properly. i can view the encoded jpg file in the browser. In the same way is there any possbility to play the encoded video file in the browser ? Which encoding is optimal for video ? What is the role of CODEC in video encoding ?

yeh, i am also facing the same problem. But i am working in VS2005. But trying to build VC++ 6 code. I think you are working in the dll program. The problem may be due to the .def file. Are you linking any .lib files ? If you rectified the error, just post the solution. Karthik M

Dear all, I am writing a Satellite DLL application for Localization process. I need to allow the user to switch between different langauge at runtime. [Using regional settings in Control panel we can change the input locale language. Then we can switch langauge using EN icon or shortcut keys] How to allow the user to input texts in Different Language ? This should be done programatically(dynamically. i.e On-the-fly).
