Well, i tried "evaluating" FarPoint , ComponentOne, Syncfusion spreadsheet controls. I am leaning...towards FarPoint, seemingly the best suited for my app needs, hopefully it goes well. Since this is for an deployed app, i think i will write my own webservice. Which will exposes the time using NIST Time Service locally. Do you think that would be a good idea? We have spoken to my sister again and she is returning to Australia with friends as soon as they can get a flight. They are going to pay for her, and from there she is going to come back to the UK. (I don't know how.) She heard from her two missing friends overnight - they made it to the capital safely too and phoned the hostel they had stayed at before where the rest of the group had gone back yesterday. We won't feel any less anxious until she is well away from there - the death toll is rising and it's not the safest part of the world for single British women let alone in times like these.
