Since goto is getting so popular these days....I get that this is a joke question, but seriously, why so much debate about it? It messes with flow in a pretty unreadable way, and the whole point of modern (post 1950) computer languages is that you write for your colleagues (or your future self) so why do it? But we've all seen a lot worse[^], so goto isn't the devil incarnate... end of story(?)

OCJOTDA very old couple were driving through town. The husband noticed that they went straight through a red light. He didn't want to say anything, as he didn't like to criticise his wife, but when they went straight through a second red light he started getting nervous. After going straight through a third red light he decided it was time to speak out. "Did you notice you went straight through that red light dear?" he said. "Yes dear", replied the wife, "but you're the one who's driving."

Difference between c# and VB.NetSo because someone on the panel asked a fairly open question, which was probably designed just to get you talking, you think the organisation is no good?

Whats going on?yeah, it was great under the tories, with hospital corridors put to their proper use, full of people on trolleys. and that nice Mr Pinochet always dropping in for tea with the PM.

lib dems(for uk cpians) ..so is anyone confused by the possibility of (left wing) lib dems cuddling up to (pinochet loving) tories? yes the country has voted gordy out but more people voted left wing than right. so how could a right wing govt make sense?

How to keep my...A 15 minute nap at lunchtime. Keep it to 15 minutes. Works every time.
-
How's that gonna work then?We produce enough food to feed everyone with proportionally very few farmer-hours involved. A lot of other jobs seem to just keep people busy. For example jobs whose end aim is to help people make a choice of one product instead of another. I'm not saying they're all useless, but are we so obsessed with our own importance that we can't see that the world would still turn if we were all (including farmers) doing 21 hours a week?

The "Fixed that for you" trendI can't speak for others but it can have it's its place where you want to comment satirically on someone elses post. You are acknowledging what they say, but then commenting back to them with a certain irony. Fixed that for you
