I've not been a fan of the company since it came out that they installed an entire :elephant:ing web server on macs to bypass an OS prompt in launching their app from the browser; and implemented that kludge so badly it left gaping holes for more malacious software to exploit and didn't remote the server when uninstalling the client. Apple responded by force uninstalling Zoom, and the Zoom devs removed their kludge either in response to Apples big hammer of doom or internet outrage (don't recall the exact timeline). I do have to admit they're moving fast to fix as many of the issues found now that they're getting looked at by every furloughed security researcher on the planet ASAP. For mine, it's bloody USB charging cables!!! She comes and nicks mine out my office, then plugs them in to charge her iPad/Phone/Speaker/whatever (We have electrical outlets on the walls with built in USB sockets), then leaves them lying about in the living room, or where ever she used them. In the mean time, I can never find one when I need one, so I go to our local pound/dollar store buy a bunch more, put them in my office, then when she wants one she comes and raids my office again. I looked downstairs in the living room and within 30 seconds I found 5 under the sofa, another 10 under chairs and behind furniture and 7 in the drawer where she keeps all her misc junk, that's 20 cables all within less than a meter of where she was sitting/sits and she still comes trudging upstairs to my office, and just takes cables off my desk. Drives me bloody nuts. I've actually use a hot glue gun to seal around one of my charge cables where it's plugged into the back of the PC (So it's effectively glued to the PC) just so I have at least one she can't take...

I've been digging into this audio stuff for a couple of days, now, and a lot of is really is damned clever engineering. Yes, the FDA has announced it properly. Trump knows that there are people whom fanatically hang on his every word, and do exactly as he says.  He has to learn to simply repeat what the experts are telling him, rather than make stuff up on the fly to sound impressive. God only knows how much damage he's done by downplaying the whole thing, but it is pretty much a certainty that it had a bearing on the the unnecessarily high number of infected people in the US. Countries that locked down quickly, and imposed restrictions on public activities immediately have, for obvious reasons, had far better outcomes. I wanna be a eunuchs developer! So, no evidence as I thought. I'll let you get back to your preferred politicians that don't lie at all....like the Chinese government who lied about the extent of coronavirus, lied about how it is transmitted, lied about the source of it and have continued to lie about it daily, leaving us with a global pandemic that is costing the lives of many thousands and destroying economies and lives. You focus on the important stuff though, like how Trump said "x" number of people attended his rally when it was really 90% of "x".
