I just finished with fraud investigation dept. Seems someone put in the wrong address. Well duh. Resolved now. I feel a little sorry for the person who lost cell phone use for a half hour today, but I wasted half my day chasing people on the phone. Next time READ THE PAPERWORK before you sign.

GTA In Trouble againIan Darling wrote: More recent games (released or in development) actually take this into account and alter the game's plot according to the moral choices made (True Crime:Streets of LA and Fable spring to mind). The example I like is Freelancer, which is very open.

Storm in MelbourneWe're in a blizzard here on the east coast.:sigh: I just got home from a 2-hour drive when it hit this morning. One of our servers at work is not responding and the boss called telling me to stay home, doesn't want anyone hurt driving in this. My windows are all crusted in snow & ice, strong winds are shaking the building.

Blackout pics, before + afterDifferent grid, and they also had WORKING safety systems to isolate themselves from this problem. After a while, Manitoba, Quebec and the Maritimes did start safely sending all the power they could to Ontario and US. I really feel sorry for the poor person who was stuck alone in an elevator for 19 hrs. X| On the other hand, I guarantee birthrates will skyrocket in 9 months, like in '65, '77.:-O

We used to use 7.62 in our rifles, then changed to NATO standard 5.56. I preferred the range (600m) and power of the 7.62, but we get more rounds/mag now and less range.
