You mean you know how to fix your pc everytime your screen bsods? wow i just usually just use trial and error through the usual suspects to find a solution to the problem

i think i agree with you about the 3, a lot of real estate that isn't exactly being used for anything; 1 does look a bit clumsy to me but in the long run, so long as i find what i'm looking for i can't really be bothered by how a website looks; i'm obviously not a nitpicker

just took the test; they recomended Arch, Slackware (which is my favorite) and Gentoo (which i haven't plucked the courage to try) i think i will pick up Arch again

or mint if you live in an area where propriety software isn't an issue -especially as regards mp3s

damnsmalllinux's old; the most recent version still uses a 2.4 kernel; won't detect a sata drive xpud is just as small and boot up faster

you know all these arguments are so funny, they remind me of the fights that you always have in the Asterix comics where you see Aterix and Getafix on the side watching all the villagers bashing themselves over the head. I'm not even going to put in my opinion, just reading this discussion almost made my head spin

what i would have done instead would have been to copy the image to disk and install via virtual machine - though i'm sure that would take more time an i would have to do a repair too; personally i've never installed win7 via cd; then i wanted to install win7RC i extracted the contents into a folder and installed from XP - dual boot

then again why does the computer have to install anything new, couldn't all the installation have taken place before you even bought the notebook?
