Good point, Mycroft :-) However, this is a for a test automation script. The automated test script needs to validate cell values on the grid (UI) as it navigates through the application under test. There are no failures.. only extended learning opportunities.

Extracting cell content using ItemsSource in WPF DataGrid -
Extracting cell content using ItemsSource in WPF DataGridI am trying to get content of a WPF data grid cell using this method: ...objGrid.ItemsSource.Item().ColumnName Question is how can I parameterize the columnname instead of having to hardcode it? For example, can I do something like this: ..objGrid.ItemsSource.Item().Column(") ???? OR like this.. ..objGrid.ItemsSource.Item().Column("") ???? I am trying to get away from having to hardcode the columnname. (Long story short, this is for a test automation script that needs to be data driven.) Any suggestions most welcome! Thank you!

Why HP Quality Center 9.2 is my best friendLike most (all?) enterprise apps, new patches may need to be applied. For example, even with 11.0, it is best to go with Patch 3 (11.3) instead of just the GA version of 11 (11.0). You will like 11 with its new dev integrations I hope. If you are a developer, you don't even have to login to the QC UI if you don't want to. Requirements and Defects from QC are automatically synced with Visual Studio or Eclipse. So you get to see Reqs and Defects directly in your IDE, you make your edits in the IDE and it flows back into QC. Pretty cool.

Why HP Quality Center 9.2 is my best friendLOL :) QC is a great application. Unfortunately you are on a version that is going to be "End of Life" in a few days. 11.0 is the latest and greatest version.

HP Quality CenterCan I help you resolve the issue you have with QC? If yes, let me know and I can contact you offline. HP QC does a lot of great things around Requirements Mgmt, Test Mgmt & Automation, Defect Mgmt and with the latest 11.0 version does a lot more. As long as you have followed HP's recommended server and client side pre-requisites you may not have issues. Being on the latest patch levels is recommended as well. Let me know and I can help!

For Christian...If you look at it, China is in bigger trouble than the US..If the US debt goes "bad", then it takes down both the US and Chinese economy (and probably the rest of the world as well)

For Christian...? How? Is the bread going to be imported from outside ;P

For Christian...Isn't a weak dollar actually good for the common man in the US? Makes it cheaper to build stuff in the US and therefore more jobs get created in the US? It may not be too good, however, for the large corporations - as they will need to spend more to import raw materials etc... Sounds like a catch-22..Any experts on this topic here?

What to do when you're sitting next to an annoying passenger on a planeQuite a few airlines provide internet access. I tried it on a recent Air Tran flight. Worked great plus it was free - no complaints :)

LED-LCD or LCD?Thinking about buying my first large screen flat panel TV...My 27" CRT RCA has served me well for well over 7+ years now :-) The dilemma is whether I need to go in for a LCD or a LED-LCD TV? The LED-LCDs really look great but still need to convince myself whether the large price difference is worth it. Any suggestions from the electronics gurus here most welcome...

Big Day for Apple fansRead a funny user comment on a forum about this: Buy stock in Tide (with bleach). There will be many pairs of Apple branded boxer shorts getting washed this week.
