Looks like a programming mistake the attr freeze is used to indicate activity, on 1 line, the attr is completely removed, so you can't set the freeze again because it's gone. // Freeze is set to 1 $(this).attr('freeze', '1'); // The attr is deleted if (window.frozenImageEditorToolBar) { $(window.frozenImageEditorToolBar).removeAttr('freeze'); $(window.frozenImageEditorToolBar).fadeOut(); window.frozenImageEditorToolBar = false; } } }); Freeze should be set to 0

I'm not aware of "several" bugs related to the LoginControl. Perhaps you could elaborate on these. I assume you have not maintained a separate master user account? Can you use [Web Site Administration Tool </a>[<a href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/yy40ytx0.aspx" target="_blank" title="New Window">^</a>]? Has the 3rd party updated the database or perhaps made a change that requires a new connection string? If all else, use the web.config to add users temporarily. I know the language. We have saved the 24 hr time in a text field as HH:MM That being said you need to look at what overhead is needed to convert it to a true time. By the way Microsoft Access and serious do not go together. :)

Richard, Yo've gotten a lot of negative replies (that I can see) because the GOTO statement is considered to be in the top 10 of BAD CODING PRACTICES in OOP. This i because GOT equates to 'Spaghetti Code' and thats something none of us ever want to hae to deal with. If you are coding properly you don;t need to use GOTO in an OOP langauge; assuming you are using an update or current version. If you were using say VB 3 or something that may be a differnet story.

You're not going crazy; .NET serialization is full of bugs. Things don't work as advertised, and you have to come up with time-consuming workarounds. This is an example of what I call a "black-box failure", when a component you depend on, that you don't have the source code for malfunctions. It can be devastating, since you can't fix it. The standard approach to a black-box failure is to try to find a different way of doing the same thing. Another tactic is to upgrade to a later version of .NET, where the bug may have been fixed.
