I do use VSCode for React / Gitops / Terraform but I will now have to look at creating a C# project out of curiosity

I would suggest you don't use Visual Studio on Mac, it's terrible. I use Rider from Jet brains instead

Thanks Luc, the reason I was asking is that we have a task from the security team who pen tested a platform we released. to review all the messages that are returned by the platform to mobile devices. this main api in this platform is large and requires a lot of reading and was wondering if I could in a automated fashion return on the exceptions rather than used human eye.

Thanks, was wondering there was a clever way to do this but sadly not. Thanks for you time

I have an existing code base, which we catch exceptions etc. Does anyone know if there is a way to list all the exceptions that either the code catches or raises so that I can do a review? reason for the review is the result of a pen test, which they flagged that the responses had too much details inside the exception.

The wife would by a chateau in France, I'd have a man cave and fitted the house top to bottom with gadgets, she'd have enough for me to do on a daily basis. And I'd buy a few cars

With the applications that I've had to take over these past 12 months, I've learnt to scream in silence as the previous dev's are no longer around. I've seen one application with all the controller actions, business logic and models in one file over 3000 lines long Another application is written in MVC (no issue there), 47 business logic projects for each schema - nothing more than simple database logic in each project. Typescript used for the navigation and JQuery used for the validation

I do, I currently use it over 4 personal machines. couple of the children, mine and my mothers. The terrabyte storage is useful but isn't what convince me to buy the subscription.

I've seen one done by Jon Skeet in C# and Java but he's giving it away GitHub - jskeet/nodatime: A better date and time API for .NET[^] To be honest I don't know that it would be sellable as there are free frameworks on time available.

For me personally, I would say that you should be trying to solve a modelling issue rather than fix it with a "change to the complier" Which I wouldn't agree to it, if I worked for Microsoft

you are right and that is why I posted here to see if someone has done it. I have a legacy system that is written in dot net 4 and MVC4 were currently trying to strangle it as it is used by the whole company. With the new stuff we are using JWT and have a single sign on API which works and works well. BUT the MD wants to me see if it is possible

I have a Security API which creates a JWT token and works well with SPA front ends that we create with no issue. Now I have been asked can I get this working with a MVC app that was built in MVC4 and Dot Net 4.5.1 does anyone have any links to tutorials or examples that I can see if it is possible? Thanks Simon

Screwfix is open but on a click and collect option only. But I would have a look at their site, in case your local branch is closed.
