She (the only one) helped me answer my question (a hard one) there. I admire such a girl/lady. It looks like that there is no one in CP.

At least there is a professional girl/lady/madam in StackOverFlow, what about CodeProject? -
Is this a little bug in Windows 7?Sorry, I don't get what you want to mean, I'm not native English speaker, I don't like idioms (but like learning them) or anything similar. Thanks!

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?If it's by design, I really admire those ones who designed it that way. In fact, I bet there are many others who don't know about this 'feature' in Windows. (I've used Windows for 10 years but I just knew this a few days ago by accident.

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?Ha ha, it's so funny, I like to call it 'feature'

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?No, but as Brisingr Aerowing said refreshing after renaming can show the correct result without having to rename it indirectly. Thanks!

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?You said sometimes but in this case they are all the same, to machine lower or upper are the same, but to human, they may make difference in how legible you feel. ;)

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?Woww, You are so great, yes, Refreshing can update what I edited. Thanks. It's just a little different from other cases when there is no need to refresh.

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?I don't know, it's just as I said in the OP of mine. So I asked if there is some option or setting to turn the case-sensitive mode on?

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?All my drives are NTFS, not using FAT32 now.

Is this a little bug in Windows 7?I've inadvertently discovered this when trying renaming my file from 'maledefault' to 'maleDefault' and I couldn't rename it. Just capitalize the letter d, I think there is no case-sensitive string comparison here and tried renaming 'maledefault' to a different one (anything except Maledefault, mAledefault, MAledefault,...) then renamed that one to 'maleDefault'. Wow, I had to rename it indirectly. Is that a little annoying? Or there is some option which I don't know, to make the OS work properly as I want. Here is an instruction for renaming lowercase letters to uppercase letters (or vice versa) in Windows 7 (I'm not sure about others): To rename a -> A , you can't do it normally, just follow the following steps: 1. Rename a -> b (or c, d, or any other but a and A). 2. Rename b -> A 3. Enjoy. Any idea?

How can I do this? A darker shadow around the border of window in Windows 7?You seem to be the first one here who guessed it correctly. Simply there are about 10 windows of IDM with the same size and located at the same position. This can be used as a trick to make your form border shadow darker as you want. However it seems that there is a few people today using Windows 7, almost people are using Windows 8 as a moderner one and not few others who have switched to MAC (and waiting for Windows 9?)

How can I do this? A darker shadow around the border of window in Windows 7?The red characters were made by MS Paint, but I wanted to talk about the darker shadow around the window border.

How can I do this? A darker shadow around the border of window in Windows 7?There is no standard way for me to post a picture here, so an external link to it seem to be the only choice for me. What's wrong if I choose Google sites as the location for my picture?

How can I do this? A darker shadow around the border of window in Windows 7?This is captured from my computer's screen and I didn't use photoshop to make this, just captured by Shift + Print. No code, no hack, simply and hope you can guess: Here is the snapshot: :omg: Darker shadow window =))

Does anyone else thinks NUI is not the perfect next step for UIs ?My vote of 5 for your words, as exactly as what I want to utter out, but I'm not brave like you. :)

Which one do you prefer, 3D style or Flat style UI???You're right, I also think it's more suitable for smart phone and tablet, you deserve my up vote :)

Which one do you prefer, 3D style or Flat style UI???I'm sorry but if flat style is a new trend, 3d style will be obsolete, you will have little chance to like it as you said, I understand that this style is more suitable for phones and tablets, that's why it's a new trend? The only disadvantage I can find in 3d style is it requires more rendering processing, more cpu usage and ram memory. I know Windows 8 will help my laptop faster, consume my ram lesser and make my laptop battery life longer, but I have still not installed Windows 8 yet, simply I don't find any beauty in its flat style. My laptop is powerful enough to run Windows 7 and any other 3D style OS, I can accept the long startup time of Windows 7 (about 2 minutes for my laptop), accept all other disadvantages of Windows 7 to enjoy its beauty which I can't find in Windows 8 (maybe also in next versions of Windows). However, if it is a trend, I will force myself to like it, there's no way. I think Windows 7 has the best UI of all because it seems that Windows 8 and next versions of Windows are certainly flat, flat and flat (metro style?).

Which one do you prefer, 3D style or Flat style UI???Thanks for your share, vote you up!!! :)

Which one do you prefer, 3D style or Flat style UI???I really like 3D style like in Windows 7, VS 2008, VS 2010, don't like flat style like in Windows 8, VS 2012. What about you? I think Microsoft is skilling 3D style, many main products of Microsoft are being 'flattened'... Is this a new trend??? Please share... Thanks. PS: There are some things made black and white... getting rid of the colorful world...

How do you use your laptop adapter?Thank you, if it can live for at least 2 years (with the current usage) I will not concern about it too much, moreover there are many low quality Chinese products in my country and I'm scared of unfortunately buying one of those fakes in case of the current one dies, that won't be good for my laptop. (China is a northern neighbor of my country). Thanks for sharing... :)
