I'm listening to the PDC 2003 streams now. But there is one thing that drives me crazy!! Even though I think that the new .NET + VS version is great I would not APPLAUSE on every new feature they show. Since I did not attend the PDC, I'm wondering if they had a light which says APPLAUSE like some TV shows... X| My point is that they are doing something, which is great, but they are doing that only because we are going to pay for it. Is like if you go to a bakery ask for bread and before you get it, you put your hands together!! Am I overreacting? Cheers, - xico -

Command Window & Line BreaksHi, I'd like to write debugging text into the Command Window. But I'd like to text with line breaks. I'd tryed with \n and System.Environment.NewLine without success. The best thing I got was return an string[], but the output was something like this: [0] blah [1] blah blah ... The Code is like this: public class CW { public static string[] Write() { return new string[] { "blah", "blah blah" }; } } In the command window is: ? CW.Write() Does anybody know how to do it? STL and VC++Since I started to use STL in my application it depends on the MSVCP60 library. I thought that since STL is a set of template classes it would be static linked, but unfortunately it isn't. Is there some way to avoid this dependency? Cheers, - xico -

Anyone using dual monitors in non-GUI development?Vagif Abilov wrote: Has anyone proven dual monitors to be useful when doing "normal" tasks? Can you give some examples when it opens new possibilities? For me it is. I always have an open MSDN help in one monitor and the VC++ IDE in the other. If I'm developing a project that has dependencies usually I have both projects opened in different monitors. Vagif Abilov wrote: I hope if I maximize an application, it won't cover both monitors? As you guessed it will cover only one monitor. Cheers, - xico -
