A good chunk of my final year project at university was on research on AI systems - needless to say I now can pretty much give someone else an Eliza style conversation without needing the program running :) Especially amusing if you start doing it in the middle of a rl conversation, for no apparent reason -- Help me! This (last?) year's new year was the first time I've ever had a friends thing rather than a family thing - me and my housemate had a small group of friends come visit for a few days (people we know through the internet - sad eh?) but we had a thoroughly fun time. Nothing stupid happened due to people drinking too much, there weren't any arguments, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Most of the time was just spent sat about drinking, eating and watching DVDs, but that's much preferable to being at a huge party (or stuck with bored relatives who'd rather be in bed) Oh, and I got one of those magnetic poetry kits for Christmas, so there was much amusement for all when the 9 year old daughter of one of the visitor's noticed one of the messages on the fridge that read "Would you like to see my puppies" and asked, quite loudly, "Who's got puppies? Can I see them?" - needless to say nobody felt like explaining to her what it really meant :| -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Next time try to go for better quality... I've seen better looking hooters on fat guys lounging on the shores of the river than this set. It's a shame that taking mammals by harpoon isn't allowed here... but I digress. "How many times do I have to flush before you go away?" - Megan Forbes, on Management (12/5/2002)

I use VMWare under Win2K for testing Win98, WinNT, and programming in linux it is awesome! I had also read a review that compared VMWare, Bochs, and Virtual PC, with VMWare ultimately getting the reviewers thumbs up. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire!

One other interesting aspect of that article is that it doesn't mention how many people lost their job when the agency shut-down. ;P Mike Mullikin  Some mornings, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps. - Emo Philips
