I can't believe I missed this thread! Unfortunately, despite the fact I am disgusted with BT's business practises, they are all i've got. I think telling them to touch my willy would do more harm than good. Still, a bl**dy good read! ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "DON'T MOVE! The best help line call I got was when my app was reporting "Data File not Found". I told the guy to go to a DOS prompt. This took ten mins for him to find the icon. I then told him to type "DIR *.*" . There was lots of tapping, but unfortunately I didn't twig at the time! He then said he got "Bad command of file name". So we tried lots of different thing, and then half an hour later, I realised what he had done. Rather than typing "DIR *.*", he type "DIRSTARDOTSTAR". Jeremy Davis http://www.astad.org

Nish wrote: I simply don't see why I should not buy a pirated MSDN CD for Rs 600 from some chinese CD smuggler Oh, come on, don't blame us Chinese for this. In fact, we learned a lot from the Indians. ;) But we are much better at justifying our actions. :) Here are some (I heard while visiting home): In the very beginning, there was no rules against piracy (of ideas, books, etc.). The western countries used inventions of the Indians, the Chinese, and the Egyptians for ages without paying a dime. They got ahead of us and then tried to establish rules to keep us from catching up. Just as the former prime minister of Singapore said: Every time you beat them in their own game, they will try to change the rules!

As a manager, I can say authoritatively that your laziness will definitely not disqualify you. Since nothing you are expected to accomplish in management will actually be performed by you, nothing will be impossible for you. You can expect to do very well in such a position, especially if you can learn to be totally oblivious to what it is your direct reports do for a living.

Here in India, legal software is far costlier than a whole computer. Thus most people use pirated software. Specially at home. The offices use legal software cause of software agency raids. Nish Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain www.busterboy.org If you don't find me on CP, I'll be at Bob's HungOut

I think it is good news. At least now the .vs England test series can go ahead. It should be an interesting series especially if our boy Flintoff hits good form. Michael :-)

Michael P Butler wrote: do it without scoring any tries X| I truly detest Rugby matches which are won on penalties only. Drop goals are ok as it takes a shit load of skill and setup to do. I have seen games were the one team scored 3 tries and the other team scored none, yet they still lost as the other team's kicker had his golden boot on. That is not rugby, that is a game of Fielders! Rugby is about scoring tries, otherwise we might as well just have one set of posts and the two kickers out there duking it out till one misses. That is why I love the French style of play, lovely running, creative, try scoring rugby. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? Are you sure you don't mean Care Bears, would fit with your My Little Pony fetish :-) I'll agreee, the Smurfs were a tool of Satan. I remember petrol stations giving little models of them away. They were a big collectible item, sort of a Pokemon for the late 70's - early 80s. Michael :-)
