Oh yes it is! I run FreeBSD at home for all of my "x86-compatible" Unix needs, and love it! Peronsally, I do find the attitude of many Linux users to be offensive. They seem to think that if it's not Linux, it's not good. I have even witnessed Linux users bashing other Unix varients, such as Solaris, simply because they're not Open Source. The BSD varieties of Unix (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD) have the right idea: The core operating system is free, the license is not restrictive or parasitic. You can base commercial products on their code, without being required to release your source code. So, while I think the name of that web site is a bit over-the-top, I do have to agree with the owner's opinion. -- Paul "I drank... WHAT?"
