Really? I'm using 7 at home and haven't noticed that. What bugs me about 7 is that my explorer window "changes" to the network and sharing center or the control panel or what ever else. Just leave my goddamn explorer window the way I like it and open another window for anything else that doesn't have/need/use a tree view of my hard drives/directories on the right hand side!

The default color scheme makes it difficult to know if a folder in the treeview is selected or a folder/file in the listview is selected. So if I delete a file thinking that the listview has the focus, I end up deleting its parent folder. (BTW, that's when I kicked off my bad habit of shift deleting).

I prefer Neural Jack-ins. I mean why dig through menus/ribbons when I can think it!

I too have a Mac (a MacBook Air), but I mostly dislike OSX. I purchased it for the remarkable hardware and immediately installed Windows 7 via Bootcamp.

Does anyone like the ribbon interface? My wife, decidedly non geek, curses Office 2010 every day she has to use it because of the ribbon. I can't stand it myself. It takes up too much room with the added benefit of making things harder to find. I'm glad I bought my first Mac.[^] Yeah, I said it.

I've just wasted too much time looking at rules of the internet. Incidentally when I google rules of the internet[^] The 5th result is NSFW judging by the title and does not appear to have anything to do with rules of the internet (unless you apply 34 I suppose)

The answer: “The ribbon replaces the menu” then goes on to extol the virtues of the ribbon ending at the bottom where it simply states "Use the Ribbon" Which is a link to how to play ribbon "whack-a-mole".

Toolbars (and their ilk) get ridiculous at times. Ok, folks, put your thinking caps on. We need icons for: Save Save As Save Copy As Save All and Save to New Location Make them all obvious as to their function, different, easily recognizable, and you only have 4 thousand pixels to work with... Oh, yeah, and you can't make them look like a floppy disk anymore, since no one under 30 knows what that is. :laugh:

When I first started to use it I hated it, now two years later I hate it even more.
