This is another step, the prvious system (I think it was JET) sustained fusion for 3 seconds and ITER is going for 500 seconds. My thoughts on Wikipedia aside, Simple english is a very good idea, the concept has been around for a long time. In fact here are the 850 simple english words proposed originally: http://ogden.basic-english.org/words.html[^] VOA radio broadcast uses a 1500 basic word dictionary: http://www.voanews.com/specialenglish/about_special_english.cfm[^] It's very useful for those learning English as it makes the task much easier to cope with.
