Developed a working solution on IE8 though I did run into a select option truncate bug where the first option in innerHTML is removed. :| But in the end I developed a workaround for this bug and have a working hack solution which is much much faster, so all is good. :) cheers.:thumbsup: My blog:[^]

A decent implementation of linear fitting by LSQ should run in O(n) time and O(1) space. One pass over the data, accumulating sum(x), sum(y), sum(x*x) and sum(x*y) then crunch those four (and n) to get the answer. Except for me it was more a continuing relationship as I already have several dozen games for both the PlayStation and PlayStation 2. So, the backward compatability was pretty important. It became more important when Sony announced that the new units shipping to Europe and Australia with software instead of hardware emulation. I wouldn't put it past Sony (or any company, really) to quietly introduce the same labotimized systems in the Japanese and US markets over the next few months. What I meant is that when you press the "STOP" button, the message was already sent to the server, the server redirected you to your new post, but the browser is still busy fetching them. How about asigning a name in the form of "UserXXX". I'm sure it wouldn't cause too much server overhead while keeping track of which names have been handed out. Or even, in the case of forum posts, rather than displaying an empty name display any old gibberish like "Unknown User".
