Apologies to PompeyBoy who probably thought he'd got rid of me :) Thought I'd better get back on but maddeningly these days I seem to have work to do for most of the day so I won't be posting too much.

Oh my goodness - I'll drop everything to help you. So what you need is me to send you every piece of software currently out in the field and keep providing you with every update that happens for those applications when the documentation is outdated? Q1. Would it help if I were to write an application to check all published documentation for the software against the current working version of said softyware and then create some update routine to send it to you? Q2. Would you like me to come over and install all the updates for you so you don't have to do anything at all? Q3. Would it be possible for you to get some spellchecking software to ensure that your posting is grammatically correct? Q4. Do you have a boxing glove? If so, the next time you look in your mirror please hit yourself with it for being such an arse.

Arf arf. My real name is Lee, maybe my subconscious just fancied a different Chinese sounding name.

So it doesn't integrate with source safe? Oh joy of joys! There is a god. SourceSafe has to be the most ill-named piece of sh....I mean software ever made.

That was at our place, Div 4 1979, you beat us 4-1 :( The object was a housebrick but I evaded it :) That was the year that Town went up as Champions scoring 101 goals - those were the days.

according to the last Q/A here[^], you can.
would have been quite sufficient. I was asking the forum more in the style of "has anyone used it do what I was wanting to do" rather than not being bothered to wade through the EULA. Better to ask people who have already done it - or so I thought. FYI I am neither lazy nor a toe-rag.

I went to Fratton Park in the 80's watching Huddersfield Town. It was in February if I remember and the wind was blowing from the sea into the open away end. We were so cold that we ended up applauding Pompey's attacks when they were playing towards us just to keep our hands warm. Coldest ever: Pompey away Wettest EVER: Bristol Rovers away - it rained while I was going there, during the whole match and on the way home. I had a blue + white beany hat and all the blue ran down my back - lovely.

I have a question. We have VS Web Developer 2010 Express. Can this be used to create real web sites that can be installed on our hosting provider, or is it just for standlone or internal use? I'm not up on this sort of thing just yet. We don't really want to buy VS 2010 Pro unless we have to. Cheers.

A shade frustrated after nearly 3 weeks of trying to find a new contract - grr. WHY oh WHY do positions come up that are URGENT (now where have I heard that before?) then then get pulled because "it wasn't signed off". There are clearly project managers out there who have sh1t for brains and aren't able to plan a project properly that are deciding how many people they need. I can handle the "you don't have enough experience in ASP.NET, no TDD work etc" but to be p1ssed about from pillar to post is getting rather galling! Rant over
