Around here, all of the recruiters post the same jobs because they all are bidding on them. I had one recruiter try to put me in for a job at a company right after I finished the interview for the same position with a different recruiter. Some of the recruiters will not tell you the company that has the opening because you could contact the company directly, but that means multiple companies might put you in for the same job as well. Another thing that I dislike about some recruiters is that they usually want to reformat your resume/CV. this usually means they just stick their header on and remove your contact information. This can really mess up a resume. I have seen mine look like crap after that has happened. Steve Maier

I have found that they do keyword searches and email job/contracts details without bothering to read the CV's. I put in mine that I wanted jobs in the North West of England, but regularly get emails about jobs in North West London. My CV also includes the words NHS, manager, personnel - all in different sections - I worked on an NHS project, was an IT manager and have worked on various personnel systems - I get job adverts for "NHS Personnel Manager"! ==================================== Transvestites - Roberts in Disguise! ====================================
