There are a few good websites you can go to to learn how to use Flash. www.vtc.com - $25/month, video tutorials (VERY USEFUL SITE!!) www.FlashKit.com - Tons of free tutorials www.TrainingTools.com - Free Train (limited, but a good starting point for beginners) and of course: www.Macromedia.com (DevNet) section

Not really no; at least none I've found - the tutorials out there although sometimes pretty comprehensive tend to assume you already know you are competent with using the software, and it is a tool that it is a lot more complex to use than it would have you believe at first glance. The problem is that once you have finally started to master it you won't realise - it's not something that "clicks" - hence like Marmite you either love it or hate it; you can either use it or you can’t. My advice is to find two days without disturbance and an awful lot of coffee and you should be able to get it bending to your every whim. You don't need tutorials, just use your imagination and do a bit of everything. One tip – learn how to use the views and various inspectors first as they are critical, and learn how to use the status bar quick tag buttons properly as they are IMHO the one key feature that sets Dreamweaver miles above the competition. Once you've got the application mastered you should be able to try any of the tutorials out there to teach yourself the more advanced or obscure features. I use Ultradev 4 and found the built in tutorial (for beginning) and on-line help (more advanced) very useful for all tools like DB etc...
