My favorite in a tale like this is when the admin buys and creates admin@somedomain.com for the email account, and then goes and modifies all of the registrations stuff to point there. Then something happens and all attempts to communicate go to where no one can get access. I spent a few months doing the help side for a hosting company. Hated that call about once a week where I had to tell the person that I cannot help you because you cannot manage your accounts. Although it was always much worse when the company had a blowup with the contractor that set it all up and I had to tell them, go rebuild the bridge you just burned so you can get the password you need. Especially because those contractors were always 'crooks' and much worse. Good luck getting it all put back together soon.

My eldest son bought one as soon as it became available and I was skeptical of it's usefulness. Not any more. It works better than the built in apps of the 'smart TVs'. To be able to stream EVERYTHING you want, you will want to add AllCast (probably premium) which allows you to cast from any app. Otherwise, if you can play it in Chrome or it has had ChromeCast support added natively, you can cast it. Good luck and enjoy. (Unless you want to have voice control, then get that Amazon TV dealio. AllCast supposedly works with it also.)

Joan, If there is not an update available for your phone, Cyanogen is a great option. I have run it on an old (shipped with 2.3) HTC Thunderboldt, an HP Touch pad (still am there), and recently put it on an HTC One. I have not put it on an S3 or S4, but the steps are similar. The best place I have found for each of them is http://forum.xda-developers.com/[^] to get the most current and complete steps. They are also VERY good at answering questions there when you may have made a slight mistake. To do it: 0) Find the forum for your device 1) Find the root/ROM section for your device 2) Read the instructions for doing it from start to finish 3) download the recommended files (Biggest choice is ROM Manager, both Clockwork Mod and TWRP are really good. I just started using TWRP and think I like it better.) 4) Read the instructions for doing it from start to finish 5) Read them again just to be safe 6) Start with step one and move through them sequentially. 7) Only clear/wipe when directed 8) Only reboot when directed It is really not very difficult once you have done it once, but a mistake can then cost you a LOT of time to figure out and get fixed. (My son grabbed the wrong version of clockwork mod because he didn't read ALL of the instructions before starting and lost access to the SDCard portion of the memory for about 4 days on an HP Touchpad.) It seems that it is much less likely that you can brick a device permanently than it used to be. Good luck! The custom ROMs take up much less space and give you much better access to your device. I was able to run WireShark on mine the other day to solve an issue that arose. :) Don

I went with an HP 5000dtn series so the boss can print up to 11x17 proofs for her design business and anyone on the network can print to it. Also duplexes. Supplies are a minor fortune, but with it being a tax write-off, it doesn't hurt so bad, and it is not too often (30000 pages or so). I was able to get it used and it just keeps on churning out the pages. Personally I keep trying to get her to spend her 'company' money on one of the poster sized photo printers, but she hasn't been persuaded.

We have that same discussion every year on a local BB. (http://www.nefga.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?11-Nebraska-Hunting-Forum[^] if it matters) Each year people start their bragging about what they've gotten and then there is a backlash. The two worst are during snow goose and carp (bow fishing) seasons as there is no limit, and people post overflowing truck beds full of dead critters. Guess it's a good thing we all have different likes, or it'd get pretty boring around here.

Yes, I get that. You should watch the video and perhaps you would understand my point of view better.

I have watched the video. The written article also goes into how it was shot in a conservation/management area. What the video improperly juxtaposes is that lions are predicted to become extinct in the wild in the somewhat near future. This is not due to her hunting on a preserve that has limited resources, it is due to a growing population of man taking over the area the wild lions need and illegal poaching. In my opinion, bad reporting. Does she display her hunting CV online? Is she proud of it? Sure. What about yours? (CV that is.) Since her chosen 'profession' is hunting, that is what she needs to do to garner the financial backing she needs. While I don't like all of what she puts online, I just avoid it, like many parts of the Intertubes I don't like and agree with. ;)

    The Soapbox com question

Hunting today is a conservation practice. We have enough domestic stock that the need to hunt does not exist. For wildlife management we have two choices, either leave it alone and allow nature to come to its own equilibrium, or try to help it to a state of equilibrium that we desire. (It will never be perfect. Ever.) As society cannot live with the equilibrium that nature would try to establish (think wild coyotes, wolves, cougars, bison, prairie dogs, etc. living and hunting in your neighborhood) we do our best to control it. Our best method of doing this is to allow hunters to pay a 'tax' for permission (license) to go and kill some acceptable number of animals to try to keep everything in equilibrium. The wildlife folks work endlessly to try and predict what the animal populations will be from year to year and adjust the number of licenses to keep those numbers within acceptable levels. They do this not only for the prey animals, but for the predators. If there is a bad winter in Utah, and a large number of deer and Elk die, the predator numbers will need to be adjusted by allowing more hunting, or they will start hunting peoples pets and children as they begin to starve. If you read the article, rather than looking at a picture and getting upset, she went on a conservation hunt to remove a predator. It was a good thing for the area in the eyes and minds of those managing the animals. Long term, it will help, if they know what they are doing. (Don't judge them any more than you want them to judge you doing your job.) Personally, when I hunt I don't take or post pictures. I like to see pictures of peoples trophy animals, however. I prefer they are tastefully done without showing blood. Personally, I think she did this very well. If you have never hunted, I would say don't judge. What may appear easy to you (go shoot an animal) is far from that easy. Much like a luddite saying oh, a web page, what's the big deal, my 10 year old can build a website. It is called hunting not killing, as more times than not, you never get a chance to shoot. Here's another thought. How do you feel after finding and fixing a particularly difficult bug? If you feel good and want to share, that is how a hunter feels after a successful hunt. If it is a true trophy, they may have put in more than one season trying to get it. It might have taken hundreds of hours. Judge not and all of that. . . . TL/DR version  Hunting is needed unless you want wild animals hunting in your yard or starving

Generally when I don't reply to an e-mail, it is because what I have to say I want no legal record of. I can always feign innocence if they call HR and say I ripped of their head and pissed down their windpipe in person, but if I do in an email it is easily proven. Either that or I just don't care. ;P
