The use a special connector called ADC, however for $99 they sell an ADC to DVI converter.

  • P4 FSB 800 Mhz... Which mobo/RAM?
    J Jody Bell

I bought the P4C800 Deluxe and never got it working right. I tried 4 different sets of ram ranging from 266-400 mhz and none worked. I ended up trashing the board (hated to do it) and bought the MSI and have been perfectly happy every since. I was an ASUS fan up until then. Jody

I wonder if they really will update the powerbook. I'm much more interested in the powerbook, mine is getting a bit old.

High end Pentium 4's run at 800mhz (200mhz 4 times), most of what you see about the new apples is rumors. Apple is normally very good at keeping their anouncements secret. I would be shocked to say the least if thay managed a 1ghz fsb.

I was pretty well forced through the C++>>VB6>>VB.net>>C# learning cycle, and as much as I don't like it, there is nothing that bad about VB.net. (And it does force you to write better code than you did in VB6.) The only real suggestion I have is, if you can, use VS.net 2003, it solved 90% of our problems.

I have Professional ASP.NET 1.0 from wrox, and its not bad. You need to have a good understanding of most of the ideas behind asp.net before hand, but I usely daily for reference and when I get bored and want something new.

I have a powerbook that mostly gets used for office and I occasionally use the terminal for various linux/unix progs that have been ported over. The only real developement I have done was in java :~ And, for java, it wasn't bad... Though personally I wouldn't buy one for developement....

We did some work on OS X not long ago. It was fun simply because it was new to me... The API's tended to be cleaner and/or more organized than I found win32 to be, but by no means would I ever give up Windows/Linux.... but I did buy a powerbook...

We actually just started re-writing most of our internal systems in c# and asp.net. So far so good (crossing fingers)...
