I personally wonder if the VP had been drinking at the time of the shooting. If so, this shooting could constitute criminal negligence. Now granted this scenario may not be the case, however, I am unhappy that he was able to successfully put off a law enforcement investigation of the incident long enough that this possibility will never be able to be determined.
