Well, I even can store all HTML in IStream and load again (will be faster) or use document.write() as ADK says below. But in all 3 ways, the document will be disconnected from the actual site. I agree, if only it were that easy. We run into this problem when reading data from external hardware devices. Many of those are made with an embedded chip and their available output has that chip's byte ordering. May or may not correspond to PCs and Windows, so we have to change it as needed. Well, I think so too. But look, the main thread of COM object is also one of the threads of IIS (inetinfo.exe), but there I can't access files over network. And user settings for IIS are usual, IUSR_ComputerName, which has rights like Guest account (e.g. - no rights :) ). But a simple thread, opened from this COM object, looks like it has much more permissions... Dunno why. Not exactly. The problem is that the COM object can be used by C++ application also, so itself contains several enams, and I want to access them from ASP. INC file won't very useful in my case, since every change in enam in COM object, I need to update the INC file also.
