Hi, I have been developing a web application which is now a just a basic website coded in html/css/js. I will be shifting it to Rails platform (so I won't really need to implement this answer I am looking for in the long term). Like in Rails (or any other back-end coding platform), we can just define the layout (or template as some may prefer calling it) in one view file and write the other views separately. I was wondering if the same is possible without a working back-end. Thanks for any help in advance. Cheers, Ritwesh

Templates with just HTML/CSS (without a back-end) -
The intelligent fellow...!Okay! May be it is getting to difficult for you to relate this with your surrounding environment. So, you don't quite get it.

You will be pardoning me sir
Firstly, please don't refer to me as sir because I am quite junior to you(I am only 16).

it would not, could not, happen in Englanding because trains are not too punctual
In India the anouncement for a train's arrival is made only 2 min before the incoming train. Further, I really do expect people to treat this as a joke. So, let it not be scientifically reasoned. :)

The intelligent fellow...!Kindly read my last reply to @Keith Barrow.

The intelligent fellow...!Actually it is a joke. So I selected Joke from Message Type while posting it. The people on the platform were stupid enough to think that the train was actually going run up on the platform. So, they got down on the rails. The man alive was trying to commit suicide. So, hopped on to the platform from the rails. :-D

The intelligent fellow...!752 people were standing at a railway station. Next day it came out in the newspaper that 751 people died there at the station. So the reporters gathered to question this man alive.
Reporters: "Can you tell us exactly what had happened?"
The man: "Oh yes! It was announced that - A through train will be passing from platform no. 3. So, all the people got down on the railway tracks sparing the platform and so, the train ran over them."
Reporters: "Then, how could you escape the accident??"
The man: "I was a bit intelligent. I tried to commit suicide and lay on the platform..!"

'Programatically' or 'Programmatically'?In India, if we are writing a single 'm' it is marked wrong(in exams and official documents especially). The correct spelling we take into account is double 'm'. But a single 'm' is used when we are mentioning something related to computer program. In fact, we mention 'programme'(this is UK English which is preferred in India also) and not 'program'. So, we have to use a double 'm'. Yet some local newspapers and posters are trying to popularize the single 'm' edition of the spelling. Actually, we seem to do away with a lot a grammar nowadays, which should have been there.

Free Web Email w/o giving up phone numberAgreed. I too created a GMAIL account few days back. No email required. All one needs to do is to press the small skip button when gmail bothers for a phone number.

Switching over to VS2012I've been working with VS2008 previously and I want to shift to VS2012. Will I face any difficulties programming in the .NET4.5 platform?? I have got many projects created in VS2008. Will I be able to develop them using VS2012? Do I have to do some thing special so that my VS2012 can read my VD2008 programs?
