Hi Everyone, Has anyone ever had a problem of the above service missing (not stopped, but instead not at all present from the list of services (services.msc) in a Windows Server 2008 install)? All manner of network related features stopped working as this seems to be a base dependency of most other services. Anyone had a similar experience, care to share how you fixed this? I'm postponing celebrating all my life's milestones until I get this problem fixed. Thank you, swjam

Thanks. Do you agree the following summarizes what I am trying to achieve? Unless the child element has a child element of its own, make it an attribute of the parent.

Hi, I have an 'in.xml' file which I would like to 'collapse' into an 'out.xml' file in c#. (Not necessarily asking for the code but the approach to do this ie. xslt or xmldocument add attributes) Many thanks in advance. The files are as follows: in.xml

Up In The Air i find this bit disturbing
Rothstein had loved flying since his years at Brown University in Rhode Island, where he would buy a $US99 weekend pass on Mohawk Air and fly to Buffalo, New York, just for a sandwich.
hopefully not a repost.

Hi, Just would like to ask for help for the xquery that I need to use for the xml string below to populate my table with the following dimension. This means that for each manager, I can have more than 1 row (depending on the number of staff) as I have flattened the table to eliminate joins on multiple table vars. Sorry, I just couldn't get my xquery right.
Finally, if I have my xsd, how do I validate an xml input such as above with sql?
Many thanks.

After a prostate exam, an elderly gent came back complaining about his medical bill. 'Doc, I think your secretary made a mistake billing me for about twice as much as I was told it would cost?' The doctor said, 'Well you must have felt I used two fingers back there. The middle finger is the second opinion you asked for'

Hi, I have a view that inherits from a user control. The problem is when trying to load in the designer, I get the call stack below. I've just about given up on how to fix it and would appreciate any pointers.
