Regarding kidney failure, i had heard of some traditional Ayurvedic clinics in Wayanad - Kalpetta area of Kerala, offering Indian way of treatment, including yoga. Have you explored any of them. Maybe some lighter form of yoga can also help in the hamstring issue. (I had visited Wayanad as a tourist in 2016, and got to know of some of these specialized Ayurvedic clinics) Aside, I was diagnosed with quite high diabetes in March 2021, and put on insulin shots for a couple of months. Thankfully no kidney or retina issue was found. Am now on a strict diet, with minimal medication, and regular yoga regimen, so that things are in control, and belly fat is reduced to near zero. Am on regular diabetic consultation (once in three/four months) with a famous chain of diabetologists in Southern India.

I redid my master bath in early 2023. One of the todo items was a new toilet. Context: in 2001, we did a serious addition to the house - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, extended kitchen, etc. Back then, (I'm in the US), the feds were pushing for more water efficient toilets. They were complete garbage. With 10 kids in the house, I had to teach them to hold the handle down, and please don't use excessive amount of tp. Fast forward to 2023, and it's time to re-do the master bathroom. Part of this was the throne room, if you catch my drift. Shopping around, I came across toilets that cost thousands of dollars. Seriously? I'm going to want a happy ending after each use. That said, I am happy to report that a standard $200 USD Kohler does the job just fine, and the user interface is a simple handle. Yes - I understand how to program. But sometimes, it just doesn't make sense to split the line. Often, it does. But not always.
