My workaround was just to attempt another rebuild of the solution, exit VC# and then reboot my computer, re-open the project, and then it built just fine. It worked but it was a pain in the butt. -B

What Eddy said, or alternatively you could dish out for Project Management software. There are even several web based alternatives out there, where you can handle the whole thing online. Those might be handy considering the project is international
My advice is free, and you may get what you paid for.
I know I've seen a Greasemonkey script for getting rid of Intellitxt links. There's also snap.com which shows a similar type of popup over links.

in VB.net we have command called as "shell" in that you can specify the minimized window, check for any VC++ alternative with this.. iam just giving you a clue because iam not much good at VC++
