This is most likely caused by a load issue while trying to generate the list. If it's during heavy load, a recache of messages, or database maintenance then some very large forums (and the lounge is the biggest) can get dropped by the cacher. Sorry :( cheers Chris Maunder

Yeah, it was odd as I voted outside of moderation on the main page. I will toggle my vote to remove it. [Update] Turns out the votes were removed but the article has an image not found issue. We use "Watch" in Debug ... so there you go. "Before entering on an understanding, I have meditated for a long time, and have foreseen what might happen. My comments were what we call in English "tongue in cheek"; that is to say I was only being half serious. I agree with you it would be better if these fields showed all the time, but experience tells me that posters would still routinely ignore them. As I said above, even when I tell them how to answer correctly, they rarely do so.

HI, I hope this message finds all of you well. I wanted to bring to your attention some issues that I have encountered while using the site, in a polite and professional manner. Firstly, I noticed that the "Articles" section of the site appears to have two entries, namely "Article 5357774" and "Article 5357797". However, I believe that this section should be empty. Can you please assist me in resolving this matter? Additionally, I had written a "tip" about "extend HTML elements" that was initially created as an article and later changed to a tip. However, I noticed that the version of the tip that was recovered was an early version. Once completed, I previewed the tip before submitting it. I also encountered an issue with the "Save a draft" button, which I used several times, but it did not return any feedback. As a result, I found it difficult to determine whether the copy was saved or not. Furthermore, the link you provided did not refer to the correct tip "Inject". The correct version of the tip is available in the "inject.PDF" file that I have saved on my machine. Lastly, I would like to bring to your attention the negative impact of a recent issue that I experienced with the site. I collaborated with the site notified, politely highlighting what had happened. However, I received four downvotes, which cost me 30 reputation points. On a positive note, someone kindly gave me 5 reputation points. Please find attached a PDF with snapshots of what I am seeing from my side. The PDF about the "inject" is the version I saved on my machine before previewing and submitting the tip. Thank you for your assistance and support in resolving these issues. I apologize if the text could sound a little strange: It was created by Chat GPT to be sure I adopted a polite, professional style Best regards, Vincent Cento Please, follow this link to download the PDF with a snapshot of what I can see from my side https://www.metita.net/CodeProject/AllSnapshots.pdf

Unfortuantely, I saw it available and prior to attemping to install it, I had uninstalled ALPR 1.0 module and now it is missing from the Install Modules tab, the only one listed is ALPR 2.1 and I can't figure out how to go back to 1.0 :-<

If you look closely, the "Parent line" doesn't run from the orphan messages to the same message as the one above it. What happened was that the user posted a "here's some code I found, it doesn't do what I wanted" which I answered, then he deleted it so his teacher wouldn't find out. That deleted the "root question" but the children remained and look like they are part of the question above. A glitch in the matrix is all - you can't normally delete a message with responses so it's probably a timing issue between different servers in the farm. If it really freaks you out, I could deleted the orphans to tidy it all up, but it happens so rarely that it's not worth the hamsters putting huge amounts of time into trying to fix properly. You can do it yourself in the settings of your profile. Personal settings -> Privacy -> Activate the first to check boxes (Close my account and Forget me) -> Save -> Confirm... bye M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

One can copy this simply by right click the subject and select 'copy link' I agree - I had already commented that before adding to Bugs & Suggs (see Re: Off topic: New icon in Reply - View Thread line in messages - C# Discussion Boards[^]). Guess how I copied the link!
