I like MSN only because it easy for my parents to use. I use GAIM at my end but tell my family to use MSN. The new MSN 6 is awesome for them because its simplicity. With this new version 6, I using it at my end until GAIM catches up (never will?!?!) with all this new stuff in version 6. Tell your folks about it.
