To generate u3d file from our cad models we use http://sourceforge.net/projects/u3d/[^]. It's native C++ (you will need to wrap it), has not much documentation but its free. Commercial libraries are everything but cheap! It allows us to generate u3d files. Then you can use iTextSharp to insert the generated file in a pdf document.

This is obvious to me. But, is this a reason to refuse platering the cake and giving them an occasion to protest and be heard by everybody? I envy the freedom of speech in the US, but it actually leads to such thing. It takes a lot to be noticed in an anonymous crowd. In France, we had such a debate after some civil servant refused to record a baby girl's forname as Megane because her familly name was Renault. (Megane is a model of car from car maker Renault).

I don't think it is the same. The english just gave up because there were no real willingness to continue with car making: - shareholders/owning famillies quickly found that more money could make in the financial/service area, - students prefering financial/commercial careers rather than engineering, I do not see that happening in the US where the automotive always has been an important product. The number of automotive workers might be divided by two in the end but if a sharp turn needs to be taken, I see no giving up from the US government and management of those companies.

How long ago have you had a blue screen of death? I am pretty sure I did not have one during the last two years and the last ones I had would occur because of poor graphics hardware/driver combinations. Blue screen of death is definitely not a "feature" of windows any more.

My point is that, in fact, by making abortion illegal you might not prevent a woman (especially one that was raped) from aborting but you might also put the mother's life in danger as she is likely to choose illegal abortion with untrained people and inadequate facilities... One should not try to be consistent with (religious) theory but rather practical...

In the end, whatever this pastor thinks, a victim of a rape or incest will fly to a state where abortion is legal or worse abort in a dirty place endangering her own life. Law should not be made from theorical principles but should adapt to reality. This is the reason why religious opinions should not be taken into account.

Have you checked http://www.opencascade.org/ It is a real CAD/CAM engine for C++ developpers and is relatively mature. Also, I am currently evaluating the following .NET 2.0 framework http://www.vdraw.com/.

I could be wrong but I think you would not find oil in the supermarket any more (at least cheaper than gas) if it was fully legal to run on non taxed fuel. It's just a guess, knowing that gas is more or less the same price as it is in France.

In france, a lot of people are doing that already. Gas is heavily taxed, and people with Diesel engine cars (50% of cars running in France) are really tempted to save 30%. They sometimes get caught and risk having their car seized because policemen following those car can smell their exhaust gas. It smell like chips especially when going upill.

See Oregon Scientific RM926-G. It is a nice travel alarm clock with 2 alarms, backlight, powered with 2 LR03 batteries that last around 4 month. The feature I prefer is that you do not have to adjust time as it is dual band something... I have been using it for 4 month and I am really happy with it. Althought batteries are dying it is still on time. It 's not waterproof, but after accidentaly pourring coffee on it, I could open it, wash it and it was working nicely again. Only drawback is it's size and shape. They could have made it smaller, I think.
