hmm... tried that, word for word, and an even simpler "hello world" type example I found elsewhere (though it was the almost identical code) - and while it compiles fine, when I try to browse to an aspx file in the app I get the error: "Could not load type [class name] from assembly [assembly name]" (If I browse to a jpg - one of the filetypes I'm trying to protect - it is shown as normal.) I have tried googling this error, but have found nothing useful - just a reference to it possibly being to do with the GAC, but no help... ... I don't suppose you've got any ideas...? cheers Fred

So what? So he happens to live with someone else who shares his beliefs/passions - is that a surprise? Why does that, in itself, invalidate what they say? If you want to argue against what they're saying then do so, but just to diusmiss it because two people involved in different gruops wiht similar beliefs are living together is pretty weak. But then, this is a typical tactic of people who don't have a good argument of their own: divert things into an attack on the people involved - that way, you don't actually have to come up with any counter-argument.

I have no problem with childrens' charities per se - but I do object to statements such as 1-in-4 children in the UK is living in poverty. That is my sole point in this post.

Hey good for you. I don't use pesticides. Accidents are different than deliberate acts.. but continue trying to justify the act of vivisection. Go for it. You won't convince me.
