I feel for you. I tried to order a new laptop for my wife last week. I knew exactly what I wanted but this wasn't good enough for 'Sanjit'. He spent 5+ minutes (I'm paying for this call on an 0870 number) trying to talk me into a different spec. But I stuck to my guns and, finally, we had a sale. "I'll mail you some documents. Once you've read them, conform that you want to proceed and then the machine will be ordered. Delivery in 7 to 10 working days". "Excellent" I replied. I'm still waiting for the mail. When I emailed Customer Services I just got an out of office reply. So Sunday I trotted off to PC World and bought a Toshiba. Lovely little machine. I'll never use Dell again. Bunch of *******.

I was lsitening to one of the Ori bretheren speak on LBC with Nick Ferrari this morning and he would not answer the simple question: did the protesters commit any offence and do you think they should be arrested? (Not verbatim) It seems appalling to me that such a little thing (the cartoon) is causing so much trouble and yet it is always the trivila and mundane that are the root causes of our woes. The big things take care of themselves.

You're being a little unfair: If you've never watched football before you would think it all revolved around the quarterback. The big problem with American sport as watched from anywhere outside America is that it is VERY boring. Far too many adverts and breaks and not enough smoothly flowing play which you do get with, for instance, rugby or real football. (Soccer was called football long before football was called football. If you see what I mean).

The problem here is that, from the muslim side, it's do as I say not as I do. When they stop publishing anti-semitic/US/UK cartoons and literature I'll take their wishes a bit more seriously. In the meantime I'd be quite happy if the police had gone straight in and these morons were to be deported to Basra. (Yes, I know that some of them were born in the UK: Duh!) I personally experienced this hypocricy when I complained to the police about a muslim stall that had been set up outside my local M&S. They were distributing some vile pamphlets and the police refused to take any action. I even wrote to the local commander ans was virtually told to "behave". It's an utter disgrace that this scum can do what they want and nobody does anything to reign them in or make them suffer the consequnces of their ill-thought and selfish actions..
