What I am trying to do is capture any records that happened that day. Where it is a datetime field there are 24 records during that time period. I can always put in qualifers for midnight to midnight however I thought the LIKE would work. I will have to try the other way I guess...

SQL working in SQLPlus but not returning rows in VB.net using Oracle.OLEDB providerI have SQL that is returning 24 rows in SQLPlus however when I run the same query in VS2010 using Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle its doesn't return any rows. I am using a LIKE operator with to_date. Any suggestions? Is it the provider I am using the problem? See example
select level from testTable where dTime LIKE to_date('3/27/2013','MM/DD/YYYY') and station = '019654' order by dTime
I did try it with '%3/27/2013%'

VB.net Monitor Database Table EditsI don't know if there is a way to do this or not but I would like to monitors any changes to a specific database table. The database in question would be Oracle. I have done numerous searched on the net but either my search text sucks or there is no solution... What I want is to have is an app that would do a check to see if the table has changed and if so it sends an email to a user. The only thing I need to figured out is how to capture the edits/changes to the database table logic... Any suggestions?

Add Command Crystal Report not updating parameterI have a problem I have added a command to my crystal report that calls a stored procedure and should turn a number. I have also added a parameter to that procedure to make it dynamic. The problem I am experiencing is that when I bind this result to an unbound field the parameter doesn't change. It is static. And results in an error of having to Verify the Database to update the report. Is there another way I can do this. Is this a glitch with Crystal....

Sunday: Natinal Tapioca Pudding Day and Respect Canada Day! I personally am not a fan of any pudding and I have no clue what tapioca tastes like. And what has Canada ever done for the US? One day I would like to go up there with a bunch of US quarters and screw up all YOUR pop machines.
