Paul Riley wrote: All papers have an agenda, just because they come folded doesn't change that If you mean that any newspaper has an opinion and his therefore subjective, I don't understand what eagers you. By definition a newspaper is representing an opinion. What disgusts me is when they are deliberately lying, inventing news, propagating rumors, using unchecked sources. I don't think Le Monde does that, but of course I may be wrong, it's make a long time I've lost my illusions. Angels banished from heaven have no choice but to become demons Cowboy Bebop

Marxism is not democratic, it offers as solution a dictatorship of a class over the society. Marxism implies also that any production mean is controled by the State. Socialists are republican and claim the right to the private property. The break between the two movements was made in France in 1920, after the creation of the Communist Party, and the departure of the ones refusing the conditions of the 3rd internationale (Komintern), then creating the socialist party. IMHO, the best sum-up of ideals of socialism (in the french context) is the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen from The Constitution of 1793[^]. Some woud call that heresy, but it's my opinion. Stan Shannon wrote: The core of the U.S. population remains solidly anti-Socialistic. Violently so. I'm not surprized after 50 years of brainwashing justified by the cold war. Stan Shannon wrote: Davy was a great man. A hero of mine And from french origin ;) Stan Shannon wrote: A house divided against itself cannot stand. It must become all of one thing or all of the other. It does not implies that one has to decide for the others. Otherwise, a lot of people have no place in your world. Angels banished from heaven have no choice but to become demons Cowboy Bebop

I send them the sarc.com link once or twice. If that doesn't stop the flood of fake 'warnings' from the sender, I cease accepting emails from them. Life is too short to waste on stupid people. Harsh in a way, but not so. War can make much more horrible things, we all know, some pictures have been already shot in the past. If the target is to show what a war really is, isn't it in a way amoral to "disguise" it so it could be more acceptable. A little weird to make art with dead bodies, anyway Angels banished from heaven have no choice but to become demons Cowboy Bebop

Yes, lets say this was a language mis-understanding. I whole heartedly agree that Asian people are totally varied all over Asia with many diverse cultures and sub-cultures. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies Sonork ID 100.9197:Colin You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.

Go for the bike - makes the more effective role model ;) BTW. We have no shower in the office, but everybody has his own room and I own a deo stick. ;P Changing requirements are the crux of software development - you start with a sex drugs and rock'n'roll design, and end up with an aids crack and techno implementation  [sighist] [Agile Programming] [doxygen]

Any articles coming up on this? I wish. Everything that I'm doing is in the rudimentary prototype stage. At this stage I don't think I could do any topic justice in an article yet. the minion

Yes, but you missed the point entirely. The analogy is an excellent one. Ray Cassick wrote: The problem with religion is that it tries to lead, and sometimes by very poor example. Yes, and sometimes people who play sport also approach it badly. The difference is that they get weeded out, religions just form around new ideas. But by taking the worst of those ideas, which surely indicate human failing, how can that be a judgement on God ? Ray Cassick wrote: anyway, is this not what you have done to VB developers, and the language itself ? No, I base my opinion of VB on the VB programmers I have met, and even more so my own exposure to the language. If I am not kidding around, I'll admit there is a minority who write usable code in VB, despite the language. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 C# will attract all comers, where VB is for IT Journalists and managers - Michael P Butler 05-12-2002 Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002

Fredrik Skog wrote: I think this is the wrong reason to get a white one. Going for one with the normal colour is much better, since you would have much more to choose from, and can then easily find a mentally stable branch. Interesting predicament when you think about it, huh? Get a white one and increase the likelyhood of ending up with a psychotic dog or buy a black and tan and have everyone assume that it's psychotic regardless  Fredrik Skog wrote: It can also make all the difference how you train/raise your dog. Oh yes, absolutely. Even a well-bred dog not trained well is going to be a problem. I would agree with you strongly there. But a working dog can be completely untrainable as a pet. Christian Graus wrote: Emcee Lam wrote: This must be digested and a decision made. I don't disagree at all. In fact I regard this as an about face from 'abortion should not be allowed even for rape victims because some women feel bad about it afterwards'. I'm glad we could agree on the informed decision. I'm hardly making an about face. I spoke only of morality rules. Now whether morality rules should generate prohibition is a different question. I currently do not advocate prohibition. I only advocate an informed decision that takes into account a full moral reasoning. The reasoning process will instruct the mother as to what should and should not be done. You must forgive me if I was not very clear about this in my earlier statements. I'm sorry I didn't answer your questions in the way you expected. I have no interest in getting involved with very sensitive scenarios. Such scenarios should be approached with great respect. They can easily become very heated, and that is something I wish to avoid. I see that you have spent much time thinking about this subject, and I respect your thinking. Your experiences have taught you many things and I'm glad you shared them. Though we may have some disagreements, I would hope we could respect each other.
