Interesting. I have found nearly all police officers to be help and yes, strange though it may seem, reasonable human beings. Could it be that I treat them as people and they respond accordingly ? I have known police officers be surprised when they are treated with common curtesy. It seems we get the police we deserve instead of the police we need. Its like I have vsisited/worked abroad on several occasions and always got on with people. Surely not Colin? Over here, cycling is forbidden on the pavement. It's just too dangerous. Where there are no cycle paths, I have no choice but to use the road. In fact, I have to use the road 80% of the time. By law, I have just as much right to be there as any car, and I obey the same rules as cars. I obey the highway code correctly and ride safely. I think your problem is cyclists who think they own the road and drive where ever the hell they like, and I have a problem with them too. It's people like that who give save riders like me a bad name. I also have a problem with cars who give cyclists no respect and choose to beep whilst waiting behind me at a junction. I nearly got into a fight with one such idiot earlier today who shook his fist at me. Had he got out of the car, his ride home would have been in a slightly bigger vehicle. 8 SIMON WALTON SONORK ID 100.10024

I was editing some mp3 tags, and I found it more of a hassle than 2.x. Also, the settings vanished *every* time. Besides, I moved all the little windows to my secondary monitor and then they forgot their positions. Winamp 2.x does not have a cool library like W3, but at least W2.x works. I'm a confused: w2.x wasn't broken. It does need a database-type song management sytem (Explorer works but is not ideal) and flexible skinning would be cool, but what was so broken that they had to re-write the whole thing? _____________________ "So in the interests of survival, they trained themselves to be agreeing machines instead of thinking machines. I know what you mean. I find it very disturbing when the spam contains child abuse. I forward all those to the police (special child abuse address). Hopefully my small contribution helps the police catch those filthy beasts.:mad::mad: Preferred storyline: - I am your father. Search your feelings and you'll know it's the truth. As for the cold water question... all that porcelain just makes you think the water is colder, or your bathroom is deeper in the house than the kitchen. Our old kitchen was on the warm side of the house and you could never get cold water, but the bathroom was in the middle of the house and the water was freezing. Then again someone could have installed your pipes wrong. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Simon Walton wrote: "You come across a lot of people who call themselves realists, when they are actually pessimists attempting to look intelligent."
