Erik, I live in the UK and as a result of being so far from the US, I have exactly the same problem. Also, as a result of not being a part of Hollywood's great dream (only 60 million potential viewers? Why do we care?), I sometimes like to buy DVDs from the US because I can get them six months earlier than over here and stand a chance of seeing it before I know the plot. I've been known to ship a £400 order of DVDs and pay £50 shipping, £50 tax, and £50 to the courier for taking the tax (which is probably in turn taxed). I don't mind paying tax for things bought in this country. I do mind paying tax for things bought outside but okay, I understand the point. I really object to paying someone for taking that money when I could simply send a cheque to the customs office. Paul
