Well, I had the same thought. Play something like Korn, or Rob Zombie...Metallica is always good, Marilyn Manson...Start at low volume, increase as needed until said teacher/student couldn't be heard any longer...which at that point becomes an issue as everyone else starts to complain (screw them anyway).

Reflection is working for me for now. I am using .NET 2.0 at the moment, so this might not be a problem (I think reflection had major issues in 1.0 and 1.1). I tried writing a custom converter, but there are many similar types that need conversion and they each have lots of properties. I wanted to make sure that I covered all of the properties. As for flawed class design - I agree that is the case. However, the types in question are actually exposed by BizTalk server through web services. I'd have to modify the underlying proxies to make the class design better. Since I won't be maintaining the solution in the future, I wanted to avoid having to customize auto-generated code. Well, in case anyone is interested, I solved my problem. Schema validation turned out to be too limited to handle all cases, so now I use schema validation combined with rules in the BizTalk Rules Engine (this was part of a larger BizTalk-based solution). Erik, I live in the UK and as a result of being so far from the US, I have exactly the same problem. Also, as a result of not being a part of Hollywood's great dream (only 60 million potential viewers? Why do we care?), I sometimes like to buy DVDs from the US because I can get them six months earlier than over here and stand a chance of seeing it before I know the plot. I've been known to ship a £400 order of DVDs and pay £50 shipping, £50 tax, and £50 to the courier for taking the tax (which is probably in turn taxed). I don't mind paying tax for things bought in this country. I do mind paying tax for things bought outside but okay, I understand the point. I really object to paying someone for taking that money when I could simply send a cheque to the customs office. Paul
