(note, not an egotistical or elitist rant, just proving a point) Just to add on to that thought, I was a pretty nasty toker myself throughout the beginning of my twenties (gave it up since then), and I'm considered one of the most intelligent people most people I know have ever met. I was asked to join mensa (but didn't want to pay a fee), score in the 150's on IQ tests generally, etc. Like I said, not trying to brag, just reinforcing your point. It didn't do a damned thing to my brain, and I smoked regularly for about 4-5 years or so.

Hardness: 7-9. I don't want the thing to fall apart in my hands. Color: ? Don't particularly care, although white is boring. Black is probably a no-no as well, as people wouldn't want to wash with something that looks like it'll make them dirtier. Smooth, definately. Rubbing a hard square edged block on your body would be slightly uncomfortable. Scent: I prefer "fresh" scents (I use the blue Irish Spring myself) Lather: Lots of bubbles. I don't think soap is working unless I see bubbles.

Hey, everyone is entitled to a mistake here and there :) On the whole, however, the man (McCain that is) strikes me as maverick pseudo-moderate Republican...which is just a hair right of where I guess I stand, so I'm starting to dig 'im. Wish he would run again...

Just in case it's news still, the Senate voted to scuttle the Gay Marriage Banning Amendment today, 48-50. Six Republicans broke ranks and voted against it, including a man who is rapidly gaining even more of my respect, The Hon. Mr. McCain of Arizona... http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&contentId=A49537-2004Jul14%20¬Found=true[^]

Wow...you've got your work cut out for you. What I would do if I were you:
1. Google like a madman for "Direct3D 9.0 tutorials"
2. Download the DirectX SDK documentation
3. Look heavily into the following areas:
The VertexBuffers hold the "points" that make up the 3D models in your application. The Device is a object that represents the drawing space of your app. Textures are painted onto the 3D models to make them look better, and Transforms are how you move objects around in your "world", as well as your viewing location, or camera. The Project and Unproject methods take a 2D point and convert it into 3D viewspace, and vice-versa. To summarize, start reading a LOT. You'll be working with a heavy amount of trigonometry, geometry and matrix algebra.
