Fancy that, killing small animals and vegetation as relaxation :-):-):-) But I think this is very important, to keep productivity up. When developing, it's far to easy to get stuck. With regular breaks (and a short visit outdoors is perfect), you get the few moments away from the screen that so often clarifies a problem. Who's supposed to pay for this? If you work a problem over (which is possible when weeding, but perhaps not visit web-sites), I think it's a part of the work-day. For stuff like participating here, well, adding half an hour of non-payed time at the workplace solves this.
