I'm a blind person and obviously sites using capchas without offering an audio alternative is a total bust. Sites like Linkedin which I was foolish enough to register on offers an audio alternative, but I am convinced that nobody in this whole wide world will be able to make out any word in the gibberish sound clip. And guess what, you need to fill in the capcha randomly when logging in. Since I can't get logged in, I can't cancel my membership. Scrum is ideal I used to use OnTime to keep track of development progress it is really a great product and their explanation of scrum (Video) is till the best I have seen online. Thing is usually with diferent customer needs comes the need to adjust , if your BA's mess up early in spec meetings it means your project is going to miss its dealine from the start . Sad thing is when BA's mess up they not the ones sitting with the developers till 3 in the morning while they code, and usually the devs that gets flak for bugs they didnt have time to test for. Best thing is to push the merrit of your methodology to business , thing is if you can give them nicely drawn reports they are usually very happy also scrum allows you to adjust your deadlines in the case of late spec. Where I'm actually living, during one of my too often trip I had the opportunity to look at an advertise, which explained a bit how is determined the price of a plane-ticket. You'll be surprised to learn than more of the half is only taxes (either from departure airport/country or from destination airport/country). So for the question, as far as the strictly speaking cost of the plane is the same, their shouldn't be any difference. By saying this, their could be in fact a difference: taxes from the departure airport of your travel when you're buying a go and back plane ticket. I saw cases, when you go back first (not a mistake), taxes are less on the overall flight and the overall plane ticket is less expensive ; but local regulations don't allow you very often to do such a trip ;) Regards, Eric

I had once seen a C++ function which was about 800 lines long, consisting of only one "return true" statement at the very end, and all other lines of code commented out. In effect, all the effort spent in writing the 799 commented lines went wasted because they were finally commented out.

The first rule of systems design is that what ever you do to fix an existing system will either make the problem worse, or create an entirely new and unanticipated problem. Working on a system you don't understand only increases the odds that your result will be a combination of both outcomes. :-D The single, best solution is to delve into whatever the software is controlling, understand it in depth, and start over - doing it properly (i.e. your way) this time. But you probably don't have the time or budget for that, knowing management... :sigh: Good luck to you! :-D Will Rogers never met me.
