TO ALL (who complain about movies) 1) Movies are not documentaries about real life but emotionally stirring stories of FICTION that feature realistic to very unrealistic effects that are intended to supplement the story and not to provide some proof of concept for some mind boggling technology. 2) Myth busters is great but busting movies hardly qualifies as busting because everyone should know that movies are fiction. Just because Nolan’s Batman is more down to earth that doesn’t mean that everything the character does is doable in the real world. 3) If you feel like you’re being cheated by movies that feature impossible feats, then I recommend sticking with TV as there are hundreds of voyeuristic like choices to keep your needs satisfied for a long time. That is if watching others is what entertains you.

No, not exactly. My 'children' used to call me sarge and on a few occasions I got to see what extreme anger or fear can do. Restraining them is not intended as punishment. It's to protect them from doing something they would regret when their brains start working again. That exceptional state of mind does not last long, probably because they have gotten a family size dose of adrenaline which wears off very quickly. But during that time they feel little pain and the body mobilizes all reserves. Even a child will show surprising strength in such a situation. Did you ever see a dumb movie in which somebody steps in front of a panicked crowd, commands them to stop and gets himself run over? That's exactly what your voice and authority will get you then. Scared people will just ignore you or the furious ones will get a target. This is the most extreme reaction reserved for situations of mortal danger, percieved or real. I really hope that you don't have experienced that with your children. At least artificial intelligence already is superior to natural stupidity
