Projectors [modified]We have a lot of Dell projectors at our office, and I have absolutely no complaints about them. In particular, our group uses: http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/proj_2400mp?c=ca&cs=calca1&l=en&s=biz[^]

No Guns For You!Exercising your rights is not ridiculous. What's ridiculous is the fact that you live in a society where you feel your wellbeing is so threatened that you need to carry a gun to work.

No Guns For You!I can’t decide what’s more ridiculous - the signs, or the fact that people actually bring guns to work.

Which ConsoleI faced the same decision a few months back and ended up with a PS3, which I do not regret one bit. If gaming is your primary focus they have a handfull of good games out right now, and a solid list of future releases. You can't beat it for movies, as blu-ray is slowly gaining more momentum, and if digital downloads become more prevelant the size of the harddrive is better than the alternative consoles. I also installed Ubuntu on my PS3 this week and have been playing around with that.

Why blu-ray sucksThe only downside to blu-ray is that once you've watched a blu-ray in 1080p you can't stand to watch anything of lesser quality, which consequently hurts the wallet.

VS 2008 pricing - Canada VS. USAJust got off the phone with their support. He didn't mention anything about tariffs or whatnot, but said it's up to Microsoft to set the price, and they can't provide it at a 'discounted' rate until the price adjustment trickles down from MS.

VS 2008 pricing - Canada VS. USAWith the Canadian dollar on par with the USD, you would think that the pricing would be identical between the two countries, but apparently not. I get most of my software online through programmersparadise.ca. On the .ca site it's $657 CAD for VS2008 PRO upgrade, while it's $479 on their .com site, which conveniently doesn't ship to Canada. Can anyone recommend another site to purchase the software from that actually takes into consideration the value of the Canadian dollar?
