There is very little difference btwn Beta2 and RC1, but the one BIG plus is that the documentation has been done properly!!! MS is running RC4 internally. Talk about dog-food... Simon "...Bill is watching..."

Don't worry Paul, you're not the only South African on the list who would have preferred to have had root canal on Saturday afternoon instead of watching the "rugby" match... Simon "...Bill is watching..."

I used NetMeeting (via VPN) to run a remote analysis/repair on our SourceSafe database one Sunday a few weeks back... I didn't have any problems (apart from our youngest "discovering" the poswer switch on the PC with the cable modem attached  ). If you need to hook up to a workstation rather than a server (NT 4.0 in this case - it was our Build PC), NetMeeting is a worthwhile alternative. :) Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd Trouble with resource IDs? I got 53.3 last night, but that's an anomaly - most of the time it's 48k or less. Jon Sagara "Ninety percent of baseball is mental, the other half is physical." -- Yogi Bera

I've tossed around the idea of a WAP version of CP but in the end it came down to a WHOLE lot of work for a very small benefit. From what I last read (a few months ago) WAP never took off and probably won't. With the new stinger phones and PocketPCs having full HTML browsers it seems the hardware is at the point where the stop-gap measure of WAP is no longer needed. I've *just* got my grubby hands on an iPaq so a cut down version of CP to run on mobile devices is certainly on the cards. cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Oh man, I remember playing Shanghai: GM a lot during college. That was a great game (still have it too, although I think you need a patch to run it in Win98). Michael Dunn wrote: Has anyone else found old games that still hold up over time? I'm not talking about 80s arcade games you play with MAME, but old PC games. I recently ran across some old LucasArts titles I had collecting dust such as Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle. They were easy and quick to finish, but entertaining with colorful characters and storylines. Matt

Hello Melissa Well, obviously my friend exagerrated slightly. But I didnt feel embarassed about it. I thought it'd also serve as a warning to other people who visit Madras (also known as Chennai). that I am sure is against the US 1st amendment. Was it a gag order? With all the material leaks of company information happening on sites like finance.yahoo.com, Ragingbull, and FuckedCompany.com I'm not surprised. Gag orders aren't really all that unusual, I've seen them often used simply to clairify that this is an issue covered under an NDA. In any event, I'd love to see that paragraph when you get a chance to post it. David http://www.dundas.com
